My period started yesterday, but there's a strange gooey discharge mixed in with the blood. I don't know what it is, but it's the wrong consistancy for blood. Is this something I should worry about?

It probably is not yet worth the time and money spent on a dr visit, but it is worth an email or call to the dr. Gp or ob-gyn
