I am starting a non-scientific poll(private, hopefully, once I get to that stage of this post).

I am trying to find a bell curve for age of onset of menopause. If you feel like adding a comment, that's fine. If not, that's fine as well.

I have my own, internal motives. Trying to guestimate my own onset of menopause, as to how it relates to my own neurological illness.

Mine was very gradual. My doctor tested my hormone level and found I was low on estrogen. She put me on hormone replacement medication and I fell much better. A few years later was taken off of them because I developed breast cancer, even though, the doctor said it didn't cause my cancer. They just did it as a precaution. That was 12 years ago. When they took me off the hormones I went immdiately into full menopause. I was 50 years old and it was tough going through that and chemo at the same time but I lived and am cancer free at this time.

You need to repost removing "not there yet", because there are many young girls on the forum and they are noise for you. Your question is - for women who are now in or post menopause, when did the first signs appear?

Thanks, the poll closed, anyhow. I only kept, it up a week. I've got a lead into some online research I need to follow up on, where, menopause is concerned. Thanks for helping.

Ham-Bam, I know what you mean about statistical noise.
Thanks for this!
