I know this is likely normal. But... eff. I don't like feeling this way.

Once a month I get completely exhausted... it's like I have mono or something. I end up crying at piddly things that wouldn't normally upset me.

HOW DO WOMEN COPE with being this way once a month? We have to do it...

Actually.. thankfully I just got birth control so maybe I'll use it so that I won't have to experience periods again? I don't know. Help!!!

Have you found anything helpful? I guess the bright side of looking at our periods is that it's like a signal for us to kind of take our own vacation away from the world? Because I find like when I'm on my period.. I can almost not handle anything. Oi

The week before I feel so tired. I have to look at the calendar and see what is going on. I feel like a zombie. My advise it take a nap girl! Lay on the couch and relax and doze. Your body is going through a lot at the time. Listen to it.
Thanks for this!

Abilify is great for that. I didn't get cramps, get irritated with people etc the whole time I was on abilify...not sure why but it really is nice...but it is an antipsychotic and thus the potential side effects are probably not worth it unless you have another reason to be on it. If you want you can go on depoprovera and have a period quarterly though it's just like birth control but injection...
