I'm 49 y.o. and my PCP told me that I don't get my period most likely because of the meds I'm on. He tested my hormone levels and told me that I'm not in menopause yet. I just thought this was really bizarre.
Is anyone else in this boat, as far as you know? Just curious . . . |

The A-typical antipsychotics can all screw up your period. As soon as I went on risperidone, I stopped having normal periods. At first they were wildly irregular, and then they stopped completely. Made it kind of hard to know when I was menopausal.

I'm so sorry.
From what you have said in the past, I wouldn't rule out peri-menopause given your symptoms. My own hormone levels tested as "in range" during that time. Every body is individual. |
