How do you know you should now masturbate?

What does it feel like to want to have sex?

I don't understand why people want sex. I've tried to masturbate but I don't feel anything.
But, now I've strange itchy feeling in my genitals. I moan when I touch them but not sure if that is what it feels like or is it just sensitive because I itch using my panty. To itch I even press my heel towards my vagina but I don't want to get any further in.

Pleas help me understand how it feels like when you are aroused.

Too hard to explain, but why are trying to masterbate if you aren't aroused? That doesn't make sense to me. As for itching, are your hands clean, you could have infected yourself somehow, I would see a Gynecologist to make sure all is well down there.

I'll say it is more of curiosity to understand why sex is so hyped? And why I don't feel like getting into one.
My periods are regular and I'm completely healthy.

You're a virgin, that explains and answers your question.

If you are not ready for it emotionally, maturely or physicially do not question or force it, you are imply not ready to know yet. Sexual maturity comes with age.

I don't know how to explain it either.
I do know that the first few times I was aroused in that way, it was pretty much an accident. It was not something I was looking for or expecting.

I remember climbing the rope in gym class and thinking "this feels pretty good." my next thought was "I hope no one knows what is happening to me."

It's the orgasm that's hyped, with good reason. Probably wise to sort that out first. Less likely to be disappointed with any future partner, if you do.
