Anyone had a polyp in that area? My maternal grandmother died of uterine cancer, my Dad had cancerous polyps in his colon. So talking about polyps gets me a little wound tight. Suppose to see a GYN surgeon on the 12th. I hope they can take the polyp out then in the office.

Yes, I've been there and done that. It was removed in the doctor's office and was benign. Please try not to worry. It's likely benign in your case, too.

I've never had a polyp there. Very concerning, +CPTSD, +Las Vegas just a lot going on.

They took it out at the office? I hope they will while I'm there. Thanks for the feedback.

Well I had the procedure, no pain with the polyp but the resident that was there doing the procedure about killed me with the speculum . I told him about and he finally got it right. Triggered me so I have no idea what else was said after that. I knew it was over when people started moving around, the GYN doctor (female) who I thought I was going to see, the resident (male), and the nurse (female). Having quiet a bit of cramping not sure if it is from his stupidity or the removal. Should know if it's benign in a couple of weeks. Glad it's out of me though.

The letter came yesterday the polyp was benign, thank goodness. Not sure how I would have handled it to get bad news right now.
