.....and I LOVE them!!! They're visiting from West Virginia. They're just the sweetest people. I feel like I have a mom and dad again. They're just so kind and gentle. But funny too!!!! They've been here since Sunday. Tonight they took us to my favorite restaurant. It meant a lot that they took my favorite into consideration! And my boyfriend told them what he wanted for his birthday was to have my car window fixed, so today it got fixed!!! I don't want them to go home on Thursday!!

That is so wonderful that you met and like each other. Very nice of them to consider you and where you wanted to dine! Not to mention getting your car window repaired....that is truly great! Hope you all enjoy the rest of your visit

They left this morning. We had a wonderful dinner with them last night and said goodbye in the parking lot. I cried and cried after we got in the car and after we got home. His dad hugged me like a dad should hug a daughter. I just felt like I had parents again. I miss them so much.

That's wonderful. I feel the same about my in-laws. I am very close with them, especially my mother-in-law. I don't miss too many things about NY, but I do miss my MIL terribly-- we are in Philly so it's about 2 1/2 hours away but with school and work and all that, I don't get to see her as often as I'd like. We keep in frequent contact though by phone, email, and text msg. I am very happy for you. I know exactly how you feel. With my MIL, I do the things that I always wanted to do with a mom.

I plan on keeping in frequent contact for sure....it was like an instant bond with them. They made it home safely, so thats some off my mind, I was a little on edge all day haha.
I think we're blessed that we get alone with our in-laws. (In my case, future in-laws hopefully )

Me too tee hee!! His dad emailed me with a pic he took of bf and me and he said he wants to print it up and send it. He's a such a sweetheart!
