for the last few months...starting at least in September i get my period for 5 days and then 2 and a half weeks go by and i get my period again....normally like 2 weeks and three days...anyway.....im on coming up on my 4th week this sunday.....is this normal??? I have been sexually active.....i am confused perhaps im just stressed.....can a period be missed all together because of stress? Or does it eventually come....I told my x that if i dont get my period by this tuesday (it will be 4 weeks and two days then) i will get a pregnancy test.....otherwise..i am trying not to worry about it.........

every 2 weeks is not normal. stress can do many things with cycles. it stinks! maybe you should see your gyn about it.

isn't the general rule with women and hormones and stress that anything can happen?
If you are worried, have a pregnancy test because why wait a few days worrying about it - do it now and if you get your period the next day does it matter? because otherwise it will stress you out waiting for your period.

besides stress there are many other things that can cause menstrual probs and what is normal depends on your age as well. go to your dr if you are concerned. if you have any other symptoms you should really go to the dr. I would also be worried if you have been bleeding every 2.5 weeks, are you becoming anemic.
personally i'd go to the dr regardless because i would find menstruating every 2 weeks very annoying and i wouldn't put up with it.

hope everything works out ok
