The socks look even better in reality than on the website and the feel, oh my! Marvelous. They fit just right and are exactly and inch above the top of the boots, well below the widest part of my calf. So, perfect perfect perfect

My only concern is that they might shrink in the wash and then become too small. So I will wear one pair, wash them by hand, wear again, repeat, before deciding whether to keep this purchase (I bought many pairs to qualify for free shipping and to have enough to do laundry infrequently).

I am so glad I posted!
They do not shrink in a wash. But I hang them to dry. And don’t wash them in hot water. Warm or cold

So glad you like them!!!!

I am totally with you. Only cold. Only hand dry.

Very glad they do not shrink. Then they are all a keeper. I love them.

Oh my goodness, Solmates are not identical! The two socks in a pair are not identical. The design/pattern is the same, the list of colors is the same, but colors are in different places on the two socks. Precious.

It reminded me of Miss Matched socks I wore many years ago, except those were even more different and were sold in triples. But I do not think their threads were as high quality as the threads is Solmates

That’s the whole point of them! Same but not completely! So fun!!!!.

They do make the ones that are identical. If you ever buy more socks from them buy cabin socks. Very comfy. Not as fun looking but so very nice. They are on sale right now
Thanks for this!

Yes, @Tart Cherry Jam, I ordered 12 pairs in July of 2023.

The cost came to £33.50, which was $42.63 at the time. There was an additional foreign transaction fee of $1.27.

It came out to less than $4 per pair!

I also ordered from Amazon:
VERO MONTE 4 Pairs Womens Winter Warm Crew Socks
FEIDEER Women's Hiking Walking Socks, 3-pack Outdoor Recreation Socks Wicking Cushion Crew Socks

The material is wonderful and the fit is snug. Unfortunately, they are more like ankle socks than crew.

Yeah, that would not work for me as I have fairly wife calves.

Vero Monte socks are wonderful. My favorite. I have two kinds. Thicker and thinner. I think they are out of one kind right now.

These are the crew ones: VERO MONTE 4 Pairs Colorful Patterned Cotton Socks for Women Casual Crew Socks

Looks like I will be wearing Solmates year round:

With spring here, I do not wear autumn boots (which I wear throughout the winter in NoCal) all the time and have switched to my new Hoka One Ones, part of the time. I have two new pairs of Hoka I bought last fall. They are the recent model. For several years prior, I had been wearing Hoka Bondi 7.

The weird thing, most of my older socks (before Solmates) ride down in these new Hoka pairs. The socks are low rise. Not completely no-show, but low. I used to wear them all the time and have a lot of them. Why a change in Hoka model would make such a difference, I have no idea. But it is uncomfortable to wear socks that ride down and for workouts, it is simply impossible.

Solmates, by contrast, work just fine and I do not feel hot in them. At least not yet.

I am glad I bought so many pairs, trying to go over the threshold for free shipping. Now I will use them!
