Does your size increase with weight gain?!

It's not fair. I'm 22. I'm not pregnant. I didn't gain *THAT* much weight.

But up I go, to another cup size... DD.

Ouch. I feel fat.

Um....since always?? LOL

Sorry sweetie, but boobs are mostly fat. If you gain it elsewhere, you gain it there. That's why you never see absurdly skinny people with huge chests unless they're artificial.

(((((((Candy))))))))))))) It SUCKS. Ack. I need to lose weight. Lots. I'd give anything to lose it, screw the fact that most women would kill for a larger set. Since when... (bra sizes)

((((((((((Rainbowzz)))))))))))))) I wore a 38D before this. Sigh. I can't believe I can now fit (depending on style) anything from a 36DD to a 40DD. I feel HUGE.

(((((((((bebop))))))))))))) if I could give you some of mine, I would. Since when... (bra sizes) But that would be kinda awkward too. Since when... (bra sizes)

I don't even know what I wear at this point -- I just kind of guess and hope it fits, because I hate having to be fitted.

Be, you are MORE than welcome to some of mine!! I have a big tummy too, and a big everything else as well. I've lost 17 lbs. since the end of May, though -- gee! Only 100 to go! Since when... (bra sizes)

My H made a comment the other day about my weight loss that was less than complimentary. Saying that what was left of my chest looked like drooping half inflated balloons.

I got fitted by my friend looking at me. I refused to even let her touch me. Too awkward!

Im sorry that he made such a harsh comment. All breasts are still a beautiful part of any woman and they come in all shapes and sizes.

I can wear a c in some bras. I really need to go for a fitting though. I have always worn a b but they really are too small for me. I need to be perky again lol and I am really hoping to lose this weight in the next few months!

Well I immediately had some counter thoughts about him, but chose to hold my tongue. I figure nothing productive can come from these exchanges.

A friend of mine is really big on Victoria Secret saying that it is really worth while to go and get a properly fitted bra. According to her most people are totally in the wrong size and type of bra for their body.

I, as a small chested person, feel the need to put my two cents in. I've found that few people are happy with their bosoms, but pleeaaseee dont think that all small chested girls want really big bosoms!

And, yes, you should really try to get properly fitted (probably by someone close to you than going to Victoria's Secret.. cause I dont think they're any more accurate than anyone else, and it's just more awkward, and they do it above your clothes when you probably should be in the nude...)

I hope this helps you guys some!

wow i thought i was the only one with problems with bras i know uk sizes are differant, but i thought i would add this im a wearing a 44g but i know i put on more weight since i being measured for this size

and i wish somebody took me to get measured when i was younger as i have my girls as having properly fitted bras does help your body and your back because if your big like me the weight will be suported properly i use a local store that does measuring but i dont allways buty the bras there as they are dearer
the other thing i know is that last year this store has stopped using a tape measure they use the eye by looking at the one your wearing and size and look to see if your look comfortable in it and then bring bras to try on in the range of sizes they sugest

this was a great help to daughter as shes growing and looks like she will have a large chest with a small body

Well, at age 22 technically your body is stilling growing and can still grow until you hit 25.... therefore, the increased breast size could be natural for your body (fat or no fat) - SORRY. Since when... (bra sizes)

I have known skinny females with large breast and heavy females with small breast - so fat count does not always constitute ones breast size..... but gaining weight will add to what you already have.

I threw away three bras this morning because the cup sizes were too big due to my weight loss since May; DD's and now I'm wearing a D quite happily.

It could be like Rhaposdy said, your still growing.
Do you come from a big chested family?
I haven't gained or lost weight in the past two years and my boobs keep growing!! I went from a C to D to DD in the past year in a half, I fear they won't stop!! I think by the time I hit 25 I may just be all boobs!!
All the women in my family are big chested, on both sides, I actually have an aunt and a great aunt that had breast reduction surgrys!!

It will be okay, although I understand the frustration, I've just learned to accept my breasts and the fact that it's just a part of my body, I was shocked when they grew like that because I went through puberty really earl and thought at 18 my body would be done growing.

WARNING - THE FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS WILL TAKE YOU TO A SITE THAT CONTAINS IMAGES OF NATURAL BREASTS.

For anyone ever thinking that they do not have normal breasts, or that they are large or small or whatever. Google What Real Breasts Look Like.

Theres a gallery and it can be surprising to know that breasts really do come in all shapes and sizes.

Thanks for sharing that Rainbowzz. I feel very badly about myself and have always wished I looked more like the models that you see in ads. It is comforting to talk to real women and then to see these pictures. It has made me feel much better and learn a little more about myself and be more comfortable with myself a little more too. I am glad that there are such great people on here to get support from.
I am 34B and have always wanted to be bigger or just fuller.... you know what I mean if you have children and have nursed. I have the skin but they are not filled in. I am also very thin. I recently got fitted after having a baby and the woman said I could maybe get away with wearing an A cup..... I refuse to give up my Bs!!! lol
It is all about accepting and embracing it but it is really hard when you have these models that give us a bad self image.
I think I got off the original subject of this thread but it is good to talk to other women about this and feel more normal.
