I always wanted to be one of those smaller girls that could get away with not wearing a bra. I hate them! I was bigger chested and have always been self concious about it. Now after four kids... very unattractive!

speaking of bras...
both the bras i ordered from sears dont fit.. i ordered 44DD.

The white cotton one is WAY too tight. And the arm straps arent loose enough.

The brown one fits but the underwires jab into my arms. I think i can just haul the underwires out and then it will be ok but i guess i need to send the white one back.

Yeesh. Bigger again Since when... (bra sizes)

It's much better to go into a store and be measured, most women wear the wrong size. My daughter also big chested and doesn't like that "pointy" look from the good support bras loves Bali. I get her hand me downs, I have to admit they're very comfortable.

I don't recall the name of the store we go to, but they always have a sale buy 3 and get on free. Well worth it because I think that they're using gold in the underwire based on cost.

hope i am allowed to post this link, this is where i order most of my bras. they carry a good variety of sizes, styles and companies. also have good sales. i currently wear a 36H. there is also somewhere on the site a page that tells you how to fit yourself, and how to tell if the bra you are wearing is a proper fit. also, many cities have Leggs, Haines, Bali outlet stores. you can't get some of the more rare sizes, but still a good selection and no one looks like you are from mars when you ask about odd sizes.

lost

I don't wear bras. LOL I'm lucky. I have small breasts, probably 34A or B.

Recently I've discovered silicone nipple covers, they are called DIMR's. Google them.

They are exactly what I need. I just need something to cover my pointy nipples. LOL

I have hypoplastic breasts so I don't really gain anything in there. It all seems to go to my thighs and hips -cries-

I swear by Fredrick's of Hollywood. I know I know. . .typically associated with "boom boom" underwear, but I have found their bras to be sooooooooooooo well made (I have one I've had for four years now and it isn't falling apart at all!) and sooooo comfortable

I was a barely b before my first child, nursed him, went up to a D, back down to a full B, maybe C, and then dear daughter came along. ::: sigh ::: Now, I'm a 38 D. I stand 5'2 and weigh in around 130 - 140. I can't see my feet unless I lean forward.

But.. .my sister who was my age when dx'ed with breast cancer is totally flat chested now. No boobies whatsoever. She recently sent me a t shirt I wear proudly stretched across my lovely ladies - Save the Tata's!

I quite like wearing sports bras (underwire ones) because they tend to hold their (and hence my) shape over time quite well, and because they tend to offer a great deal of support. I think one of the reasons why the majority of people are wearing the wrong 'size' bra is that they do stretch over time and the majority of the support comes from it being snug around your middle. I find bendon to be a pretty good brand with respect to them being well made and lasting. Need to buy a couple, actually...

I HATE bra shopping. Probably part of my hating shopping (especially clothing shopping) more generally. Still... Time to do it methinks... What I hate most is that I get paranoid about the mirrors having concealed cameras and / or being one way glass (I'm very self conscious about my body). And... Because in my experience I have to try on a few to find ones that fit me properly (no matter what the sizing says). Part of it is that one is a little bigger than the other...

I was just reading over this thread again and I think I have solved the problem and I did not even know I had already been practicing it for years - Forget wearing a Bra all together.

I do not wear a bra when I am at the house... and I only put one on when I go out into public places or visit family / friends and then the bra comes off as soon as I am back in my house (in front door, straight to bedroom, remove bra, throw on bed) - some times the bra even comes off as soon as I get in the car.

Thank goodness for big for big purses. Since when... (bra sizes)
