Is it possible to get pregnant from 'Fingering'?

Hi,

nearly 2 weeks ago now, the guy i am seeing and i were messing around. I was giving him a BJ and for part of it his hand was on his penis - im pretty sure there would have been stuff on his hands. then he put his hands down there on me a couple of times.

I am only wondering if its possible? Coz about 4 days later i woke up so suddenly in the night with a feeling i was going to throw up. this lasted for about 3 - 4 days. constant nausea. im not sleeping. im so tired.

Ive heard that you get food cravings - but can it happen the other way - where you loose your apeitite?

These syptoms could also be towards other problems and caused due to worrying tho.

i still have a week until my period comes. According to the calender the day this happened was the day i was most fertile. I remembered this happened a couple of days afer i was getting these symptons. guess its playing on my mind!

you can't get pregnant from that. may I ask how old you are? I am assuming you are in school still. sperm has to come in contact with your eggs.

I am in my early 20's. This is my first 'relationship' with a guy - normal and sexual.

I only ask coz someone told me it was possible. I know it has to come in contact with an egg. But was concerned as sperm was probably on his fingers which he put inside me (not just out on the outside).

with the way i have been feeling i was just a little worried. i didn't think it was possibile until someone told me it was.

ive been confused on wether sperms dies soon as it makes contact with the air - coz ive read elsewhere that it can survive for a few hours.

I had a feeling it would be practiaclly impossible to get pregnant that way. how unlucky could i be?!

im probably not, just thoughts been going around in my mind. and how ive felt recently hasn't helped!

Sperm do their best work in a warm, moist environment. Oxygen is not their primary enemy.

If there was still visibly wet pre-ejaculate (pre-cum) or semen (ejaculate, cum), on his fingers or hands and he touched your genitals and inserted his finger(s) into your vagina then you have a low risk for pregnancy. You also have a some risk for STD transmission because your genitals were essentially unprotected if he introduced his bodily fluid into you.

Next time, have a clean towel to clean hands with at a minimum. Better yet, alcohol based rub then wipe off with a clean towel. Good luck.

While it is highly unlikely... the small possibility is always there when sperm is released near the opening of a females genitals.

If there was any pre-cum or cum, it would have been very fresh. Im due soon, so i should find out soon. Im hoping my period comes , but i have been under a lot of stress/worry lately, so that could make it late. I hope not.

Anything is possible first of all.

Guys emit a little bit of sperm before they ejaculate. There is a substance to lessen the acidity of the urethra since it is used for urine also, it is pretty acidic and would kill sperm if there wasnt something to "soften the blow" (no pun intended). But with this pre-ejaculate there is a little bit of sperm.

However, even in perfect conditions and trying to get pregnant, the chance that the fertilized egg would carry to full term is about 31%. With the tiny amount of sperm that could have gotten into your vagina, they would then have to get past the cervix and then approximately half of them are going to go down the wrong fillopian tube. And thats if youre ovulating and your egg isn't too far down the fillopian tube already.

So the chances are highly unlikely. But do not take that as it cant happen! You can get pregnant almost any way you can think of. You can get pregnant on your period as well. So the main point is to not take the chance but yes, I doubt youre pregnant.

And yeah, sperm isn't going to die by coming into contact with air....Theyre not fish. They dont have gills. If anything would kill them it would be the temperature because their used to living in a buffered environment but sperm can survive for days after being ejaculated. Thats why I hate wikipedia.

In my experience, you would NOT be experiencing pregnancy symptoms only 4 days after the event.....it sounds like you have a virus, or maybe are sick from worry??

Believe me, I've made myself crazy wondering about getting pregnant in really unlikely circumstances (like...if we have sex, and the condom DOESN'T break, what are my chances of getting pregnant?!) Every time, it was a LOT of time spent worrying and freaking out, followed my....my period!
