I've been out of work for awhile and after a lot of searching and much rejection; I've finally been hired and the thought of going back to work has got me feeling a little anxious. (a little background) My last position of 10+ years was relocated overseas, shortly thereafter, I lost my Dad to a terminal illness, lost my home and my depression gradually spun out of control. I feel as though as I've been to hell and back and I keep waiting for some more misfortune to blindside me at any time.

I can understand why you would feel a little anxious, however, it could also be the turning point you have been needing. Try to take some deep breaths when feeling anxious and try not to let your past effect your future.
Sorry to hear about your Dad. I lost my 2 years ago. I know it is tough. ![]()

I took some time off work a number of years ago due to mental health issues and I clearly remember how hard it was to go back. In the end, it was what got me better, though. Work is good for the soul. It won't necessarily be easy going back to work but I imagine it will be a good thing. Been there. Best wishes.
