So, I have a new job opportunity. Financially, I'm screwed...but this is an ongoing issue that I've learned to deal with over 20 years...but the job would really help with that.
However, it involves traveling, and I would be unable to see my therapist regularly...this I'm worried about. My gut tells me to turn down the job....I can continue being poor, I'm used to it, because I'm making good progress in therapy and I don't want to sabotage that for any reason. Long term, I need to continue working on myself. But, the money would help short term...although, unless I work on myself, I'll probably sabotage that job anyway. What would the fine members here do? Thoughts? Thanks everyone....appreciate it in advance PS Sorry if this is wrong forum |

If the job would help financially maybe it would be worth talking to your T and seeing if you can work something out with your sessions?

I've thought of that but it would be hard. I'm more worried about skipping sessions, not seeing her regularly. I'm screwed either way ![]() |

With technology it's possible to be able to continue therapy on the road if you and your therapist are willing to go that route.
