I want a degree, and can't decide, most things I serach and look for either require far too much math for my taste. I would love to find some degree that was interesting that required algebra as the highest needed mathematics courses. Most of my interests I've found won't actually provide me with a stable income. This is my goal, provide a stable income, and have little math requirements. I also wouldn't mind to be able to travel as part of the job. Any ideas?

Have you researched any particular majors that you're interested in? You can also talk to an advisor to help you figure out what you want to major in. Since you do not want too much math, the humanities are your best bet as the science courses generally require a lot of math. I'm not sure if those degrees will provide a stable income or not. It depends on what you do with your degree. With a history degree you can become a teacher or a professor, and I've had a few professors that traveled to different countries for research.

There's also foreign language, literature, political science, etc.

Nursing has sciences but the math is not high level. There are lots of opportunities for nurses and if you want to make good money you can become a CRNA.

I agree with Yoda - nursing might work well. You can always get a job, requires some math, especially in some areas, and travel nursing positions are easy to find with good pay. Best wishes.

I'm an English Major and I was required to complete Algebra and An Introduction to Statistics, which is not like Algebra at all.

A teaching degree doesn't even require Algebra most places just Liberal Arts Math. You can become TESOL certified and travel to different countries teaching English as a second language. Most private schools abroad (Asia especially) will provide housing as well for ESOL teachers.
