I went for a job interview with two other people at once on August 21st, because this agency scheduled a job for us and it helps find jobs for disabled people. The woman who scheduled the job interview for us came and helped us out. We were interviewed by the director and we all got the part-time data entry positions that were available. He said we would be starting in four weeks.

Guess what? It's been over six weeks and he never contacted the agency or us to let us know when our first day would be. That's why I have an appointment with the job placement woman to help me find another job.

Being jobless really sucks-especially for someone who is a great worker, has job experience, punctual, good work ethic, smart, and willing to learn other skills.

I'm sorry about your near-miss. It is hard to have your hopes up. You know yourself what you have to offer and eventually someone is going to be patting themselves on the back for seeing it too.

This has happened to me as well. The important thing is to just keep trying. Keep putting yourself out there and you will land something before long.
