I learned this morning that I'm getting an offer to join a small consulting firm, which is big because I just got fired from my last job,
I think I'm struggling with PTSD, because I somehow can't feel good about this, or even believe that it's happening. I've passed the background check and I can pass the drug screen, but I'm still a wreck. Maybe I just need to give it some time, and wait for the offer letter to come through, because right now I'm still convinced I'll never work again. |

Being fired can play havoc with your confidence and self-esteem (been there). Learn and move on is my motto. It will all come back in time. Good luck with your new job.

Congratulations on your new opportunity! Take it one day at a time, it sounds like you feel overwhelmed and that is ok. That you received an offer is proof positive you are working on yourself and have what is takes to get back into the workforce.
