But I can't afford to pay anyone to make a resume. Any advice on how to make my own, or going to an agency and having one made for free? I'm not sure what resources are out there, but I definitely need a better paying job because I can't afford to pay all my bills and I'm not getting any financial assistance anymore. So its time for a new jobs, and I have a college degree, but cover letters and resumes...I don't have a template for either. I use to on my old laptop but it died and I wasn't able to retrieve them.

THANK YOU. Getting a better paying job is my only ticket out of my abusive environment. I was hoping to get someone else to make it for me, but making my own is probably just as good with the proper guidance.

I need out of here and financial stability so bad.

Is there an organization near you that might help you get out sooner? I'm assuming you are female but I could be wrong?

I'm often working on my resume/job search online at the library. Once you have a basic outline of your resume, you can go from there. There are resources and templates like somebody already mentioned. I'm not sure of a free service out there. I am in the middle of job searching again. I lost my job a few months ago and am now living at my mom's. It's not a bad situation living there but I do want my own place.
Thanks for this!
