I have been at my job now for the last 11 years now. Things are getting really crappy at the moment(I know this happens everywhere). I have some college credits in various things, but I don't have a degree.
I enjoy working on my own without a lot of supervision. I'm currently in blue collar/tech work. I enjoy doing things with my hands. There's a couple of schools in my town that offer ring making/repair and another that offers a cad certificate(does anyone have any experience with these types of jobs? Do they pay well? Is it cut throat?). Does anyone have any ideas they can send my way? I have also been researching civilian drone pilot. Haven't found much, but I'll keep looking. Open to input Dwfieldjr ![]() |

IMO, drone piloting is a very up and coming skill set-- more and more companies will be looking for this in the future.
CAD is also a great thing to learn. Can you get information from the place that offers the certificate program about how many people they place after completion? Maybe some names of people who went through the program? |
