I was out on sick leave ( 3 months) my surgery and after my surgery my anxiety kicked into overdrive and my psychiatrist was well aware of my anxiety even said yes indeed your anxiety has increased since your surgery. I finally am ready go back to work my surgeon says I'm good to go and my psychiatrist did tell them my anxiety has increased just a bit which they knew in the past and would it be possible to work her in another area instead of the usual area where she normally works aka nothing fast paced.I call my work and they almost seem hesitant like I'm handicapped ( in their mind) they asked questions like will your anxiety interfere with your performance ( no) I'm the same person I just can't be in a fast paced environment. They keep saying they'll call me but yet they never do... I feel like I'm slowly getting pushed out the door. I need the money to pay my rent etc and I feel like I should keep bugging them saying what's the status but I don't want to be a pain. I'm also getting severely depressed by this I don't know what to do. What should I do??

It's really hard to say because I am not sure what kind of place you work in, whether or not you have a union, how your employer handles medical leave, etc. It's very stressful to not know where you stand, I hope you get some answers soon.

I called one of the managers and the operator said she's talking to someone at the moment can I say who's calling ( said my name) waited the manager said tell ( my name) speak to HR they are in tonight. The interesting fact is I already talked to HR and HR was supposed to talk to that manager. I honestly feel like I'm getting blown off here.. They have my email they have my phone number they have my address yet they aren't reaching out to me. I've been with that company for awhile I've seen people come back from from sick leave no problem but perhaps mental illness they can't seem to handle or maybe I'm reading into things but it does seem suspicious. I am at a loss right now...

I think I would call HR and ask to set up an appointment to meet with them. Hopefully they will be agreeable to that. Take any paperwork you have from your Dr, PDoc releasing you to work to the meeting and talk to them face to face about your concerns and needs for a less stressful position. Maybe a face to face will get the ball rolling.
It could be they are just trying to find the right position. Maybe that conversation will help them in that decision.
