I got off work at 8:30 and I have to start work tomorrow morning at 6:30.

Has this happened to anyone else? I just find it weird. I’m wondering if it’s a schedule error or if it was intentional. It’s doable though. Hopefully it will make me look reliable. I started this job 2.5 weeks ago. So maybe they are just trying to figure out the schedule.

This is very common at the main store I work for. They constantly schedule people who get off at 10pm back in at 7am.

Yeah, I think this is fairly common even though it doesn't make much sense.
Thanks for this!

I was reading that this is becoming more common, especially in areas like food service and retail. Employers are also using software to predict demand and set schedules at the last minute based on that. It sucks, but it is reality these days in some industries.
Thanks for this!
