I had an interview today for a small company. I was doing fine until I gone off course.
I became too excited and talked too much. I also stuttered during interview. How do I maintain a good pace in the interview? |

What was the reason you became excited and went off course ? . Did you become nervous , or too comfortable?

I also had problems with interviews until I went to do some for just practice. I am getting better at interviewing and suggest that you schedule some interviews for practice. I believe that nothing beats having experience in interviewing. So, get out there and practice, practice, and practice. And, I would schedule your dream job interview after your practice interviews.

I do this sometimes too as a result of OCD traits. My suggestion is to try to stick to ONLY answering the questions they ask. Don't volunteer information if they don't ask it. I would only suggest this if you're prone to oversharing, as it sounds like you are.

I pretend I am speaking to an interpreter. (slowing down so the interpreter can interpret) It helps me to slow down -- it sounds to me like I am speaking wayyyy too slow, but to them it sounds normal.
