I don't know.. I didn't get work immediately but definitely within 3 weeks. In addition I got a lot more work when I was totally available to start at a moment's notice.

I am on vacation this week and I have to say it is amazing how happy and clear I am. It makes me even more depressed about going back to the stressed and frustrated person I am when I have to work.

I walked away from job and i did not have a plan at all..

After over 20 years of working in the medical field, i realized that people don't want employees..

They just want "happy slaves".. There's no such thing..

Administrators behind our backs called us "wage slaves"..

If one of us kicked the bucket right there on the job, their main objective is making sure it's not their fault, and they don't make the headlines.

I learned very quickly, i can be replaced.. and you know what? They can be replaced too.

Agreed

I had my interview today it was pointless a meet n greet! They had outbound call center positions 4 less money like way less! I left early.

That interview was boring very short all they could offer is low paying call center work! Another staffing agency wants to meet think it's a meet and greet too no thx.

^^ Aww, that sucks. I´ve had that happen more times than I can count while job hunting - having interview and realizing there´s no way I´d even want the job. It is so frustrating.

The breaking point for me at my last job was when we did a floor move. I worked at a retail store. It was 7 hours of moving multiple heavy racks from one floor to the other. My boss was yelling at me about everything. My other coworkers were doing stuff but I was the only one getting blamed for everything. She had been like this for a few months, but that particular day was really rough. It just seemed like I was doing everything wrong and everything was my fault because god forbids she blames one of her “favorite” employees.

The next time I worked I just went in there and told her off and quit without giving any notice. I got a really nice job 15 days later that is still really great, And that horrible company filed for bankruptcy and closed 3 months after I quit.

So it worked out for me quitting without having a job lined up, but it still probably wasn’t a very good thing to do. I still feel a bit bad. But I also feel like I got the last laugh.

I’m just glad I got out in time.

Lucky you got out I'm still stuck. I just applied to a few more jobs today. I'm still thinking about what I'm gonna do.
