Has anyone worked there? I filled out an application at the start of the year and I got a voice message at 11AM asking if I'm still interested and to give them a call.
After some back and forth I finally called them but they told me to try again tommorow afternoon. I don't know much except that its a pretty physically demanding job. My blood pressure has been real wonky lately even on meds. I see my PCP on Monday. But I can't keep living my life doing nothing all day.

I have never worked at Ross but was a regular shopper there until recently.
Where I live, the stores are often understaffed so the employees there seem to have a lot on their plates. They may be restocking and then interrupted to come work as cashiers or they might be refolding clothes and then the same thing happens. Seems kind of high pressure. Of course this could just be in the stores where I live. I don't know how things are where you live. Sorry I could not be helpful. |

Quote:
Most retail is like that, especially on weekends and around holidays. I worked at a dollar store and everyone's "job" was cashiering (regardless of position title--from assistant manager to maintenance) and just did put-backs, stocking, and clean up if there were other people and it wasn't insane.

You can "investigate" an employer on Indeed.com. It will describe the company, and employees from each location may post reviews on their experiences.
