Wanting,
Did you know that you are doing exactly the same thing today that a person with years of sobriety is doing? Not drinking just one day at a time. We all do the same thing.

OK, Maybe some of us went to meetings, got a sponsor, and worked the steps, but basically, we don’t drink no matter what, just for today.

What you have done to date is significant, people reading your stuff wish they could get as much time under their belts. Keep doing what you have been doing, and stay willing to grow in unexpected directions.

This really is a long strange trip, just remember, good things happen to people like us if we don’t drink.

Think "I DO NOT need a drink, I can get through this, I do NOT want it to take over my life!" find some people that overcame this addiction. Think about what is causing it and how you can improve the part that is troubling you, give it a go if that does not work then ask yourself this again and come up with a new theory for yourself. i know you can overcome your addiction, lots of people out there already have maybe some on PC even. Good luck i know you can do it! i need a drink NOW!!!

Hello I hope you are doing better.. I am going to leave you two hotlines for Alcoholism that you can call in crisis 1-800-331-2900 and 1-800-652-HELP. You may call either hotline I suppose 24/7. Take care Soidhonia.
