I get my 30 day chip today. I'm so excited. i can't believe how hard it's been. I'm only now feeling like I'm kind of coming out of the fog and seeing clearly how messed up my life is from drinking. Starting over seems really hard and scary but I know that with help from my higher power, and some good therapists I can do it.
And thanks to everyone here who has given me support. ---splitimage

That was the hardest chip for me to get. So proud of you!!! Now just keep coming back to collect them all.  Excellent job.........whoo hooo!!!!!!!!!

30 Days!
That is a long time to go without a drink, I know. Keep doing the things that got you this far, and remember to stay grateful for the gifts you have been given. And keep coming back, there are people reading your posts right now that can only imagine what 30 days without a drink or drug must feel like. You are the best kind of teacher, someone in who’s shoes a newcomer can easily imagine themselves. You are needed here, and thank you for all you have done. Richard |

thanks everyone. Getting the chip felt awesome-the group I got it at is pretty infromal so everyone hugged me.
But even more exciting is we're celebrating a 50 year medallion at my home group next Mon. ---splitimage
