I have gone 18 months without a drink...I never thought it would be possible, but I have made it. Today, I consider my sobriety to be one of the most important things in my life. What a change it has made! My depression is better, my anxiety is less...my whole outlook on life has improved. When I quit I was about ready to lose my job, so I decided I would quit drinking until I retired...now, I really hope I never go back to drinking.

The support I have recieved from people here at PC has been a major factor in my staying sober--thanks to everybody!

Congratulations that's huge. I have trouble imagining being sober for that long.

first of all, 18 months is totally awesome, DPM!!!!!! congrats on that! such an amazing achievement!

secondly, its just so nice to see people on here posting about their experiences-good or bad-all can be beneficial to read and understand. its just amazing to see what a person can accomplish, regardless of what their previous situation was.

((((((((((hugs to everyone in this forum!))))))))))
