And still doing ok!
 Admittedly, I am playing with my hair more often than normal when I'm bored or I get nervous, but at least I'm not actually pulling it out any more. Hopefully I'll be able to stay this way for a while yet...

Thanks for replying, Direction.
 Basically, I've just been trying to keep my hands away from my head as much as possible. If I'm watching TV, I'll hold the remote; if I'm writing, I'll hold an eraser or a pen lid in my left hand; if I'm reading, I'll make sure I'm holding the book with both hands...and if those aren't enough, sometimes I've worn a hat.  It's easier now that I don't have schoolwork to do.Unfortunately, I've been doing some less healthy coping strategies as well - picking the skin off my lips, and playing with my hair like I said in my first post. But I'd rather do those than actually pull my hair out...maybe eventually I'll be able to stop them, too.

No problem, Direction! Keeping my hands occupied is pretty much the only thing that works for me...some people use gloves as well, I think, but I haven't tried that.
