I decided to do a gratitude list as part of getting back on track & thought I'd post it here as a public reminder to myself. Feel free to share what your grateful for.

1. I'm sober today.
2. I have great friends who are really supportive.
3. I have another 7 months where I don't have to worry about money while I look for a job.
4. I have a great apartment.
5. I have really good Dr's who are supporting me in my recovery.
6. I have an amazing sponsor.
7. There's a meeting no more than 2 bus rides away from where I live every day of the week so I don't have an excuse not to go.
8. on-line grocery shopping. ok it's silly but it's a big deal when carless.
9. I belong to two amazing online support groups that are available 24-7.
10. My homegroup will welcome me back no matter what.
11. My hands aren't shaking so I can play the harp.
12. It's snowing today and it's really pretty to watch.
13. Even though I screwed up, I didn't seriously injure myself or anybody else.
14. Despite all my years of drinking, I didn't seriously damage my liver.
15. My psych hospital is starting a SAFE program and my psychiatrist thinks I'm eligible to participate.
