When does drinking become a problem?
I think I have a drinking problem..
I drink for all the wrong reasons...
I drink to hide..I drink to make my emotions go away..
Is this a problem..should I even be here?
I sneak alcochol from my parents...I drink it late at night or when their not home...
It scares me..I scare me..am I just overreacting?
I only drink when I'm upset..
Today I took it to a whole new level..
I made myself sick and dizzy for the first time..
Do I have a problem?
I'm all confused..

It has been my experience that people that don't have a problem with alcohol never ask if they have a problem. Usually if your asking this question yes it is a problem--how much of a problem is up to you. Never think your to your to be an alcoholic. I was full blown at 16 didn't get sober until 19. If i had waited i don't believe i would be here now. Call AA they can help a lot.

Some of the questions in one of the AA pamphlets asks are Have you ever tried to stop drinking but were unable to? Do you feel guilty about your drinking? Sounds like you might answer yes to the second question. Only you can decide if you have a problem with alcohol, but it sounds like you're using alcohol for a lot of bad reasons that can lead to problems down the road. Drinking can seem like an easy escape, but it really just makes our problems worse. And the earlier you can stop and get your life back on track the better and the easier it will be. Getting sober is hard work, but it's totally worth it - it's something I wish I had done years ago instead of wasting basically a decade.

Do you think you can talk to your parents about getting help?

And AA really can be an amazing support - AA has helped me loads.
