My BMI says I'm overweight, but I've been on "starvation rations" for several months and lost about 35 pounds. When I had an ED before my period didn't stop until I was "underweight." Is it possible that the loss of my period is a result of the ED or do you think it's something else?

there are multiple reasons a person might lose their period. so it might not be ed related. loss of periods with ed's is usually more to do with body fat percentage than actual weight. if you've lost a lot of fat, or not taken in enough nutrition, regardless of your weight, that could be the culprit.
you could, of course, if it's possible, also be pregnant. don't ever overlook the obvious! are you willing/able to get checked out by a doctor? that would be the best thing for your health.

Not pregnant; no sex since 2008 when I was raped.
I can't afford a doctor becaues the company I work for dosen't offer insurance.
Some places online say you need to see a doctor if you go more than 35 days, but I'm up to 38 days now. The Mayo Clinic website said not to worry until its been 90 days, so I'm waiting out the 90 days. No pain, just not a normal cycle.

i hope it will turn out all right. in the mean time... if you're ready to tackle nutrition - go for it! - if you're not, then tackle hydration. fill a large bottle with water, and make it a goal to empty it. add a sports drink - can't handle the sugar? try a sugar free. if you ever feel you are having an emergency - seek medical help anyways. if you can't afford full price, and you have no access to insurance, lots of places will lower your bill. they'd rather get something you can afford than nothing.
i genuinely hope you will be all right. please take care.

My first time of dealing with anorexia, I was 42......went way underweight by lots & lots & my period NEVER stopped.

The second time I was medically hospitalized for anorexia I was 51......period stopped & I was not quite as low as the previous time....but then it never started again because of menopause.....& the hot flashes started.

I would personally go to the Dr in the first place. Don't ignore possibly serious things that you could in the long run be very sorry that you ignored. Best to take care of things even though they cost a bit than to be sorry in the long run. Dr's usually will negotiate for those people without insurance......& even if you can't pay anything they will work with you....or you can find a county facility that is willing to treat you without paying.....it's better than not doing anything about it at all & assuming it to be something it might NOT be.

My mom died from something she thought was a cyst & not the cancer that it really was.......when you start to play around with assumptions.

Call Planned Parenthood; maybe you can income-qualify. Planned Parenthood is not just for family planning - they have GP's.
Thanks for this!
