Hey Guys.

Im in the middle of a relapse and Im so terrified.

After being hospitalised 18 months ago for 8 months I was doing really well and was maintaining a healthy weight but over the last few months everything come crashing down and Im in the middle of a massive relapse

Since being in hospital we've moved 400 miles across to the other side of the country to supposedly start a new life and here I have absolutely no support network so Im really struggling to know what to do.

Welcome to Psych Central(PC). I am so sorry you are suffering from a possible relapse. Are you on meds and taking your meds? If not contact a pdoc on an emergency basis. Get a therapist so you have someone on your team. Get the number for the samaritans.com in your location so you have someone to call in an emergency.

Besides being an active participant in helping oneself at Psych Cental, many people also help support each other by replying to other people's posts. Many people who are actively involved in Psych Central find it helps take them out of their own problems to develop empathy for others. And their problems are more manageable the more they help others.

You need 5 posts or replies to other posts to use the chat room.

Glad you are joining us here. Some people find the forums give them the compassion and empathy they seek. http://forums.psychcentral.com

Please feel free to private message me or any of the Community Liaisons by left clicking on the name in blue to the left of their post) for questions or just to share.

I also urge you to establish your own support network. It is quite common to need support after being in-patient. What was your support network at home where you used to live? If it was working well for you there, try to establish something similar where you are now. You can do this!

I know exactly how you feel. I have been going through a relapse after 5 years of good health. I just recently had a baby and since then it's been out of control.
