Wow what a day! It's 9:55am and I am freaking out! I am leaving for vacation tonight, flying to California. Of course flying is not one of my strongpoints, but it is mostly the anticipitory anxiety that gets me. The "what if" thinking. But of course as work always goes everything has to get done before I leave today. I feel so out of control. I am in such a state right now that I feel like I am floating. Kinda scarry. Just needed to pop on and write a little to slow myself down and get some feedback. How do some of you slow yourselves down when you Know you have to get things done, but you just don't think you have the time to do it?

I have a tendancy to take tasks on in multiples and try to get them all done at once. It overwhelms me then I just break down and cry. How do I stop this. How do i force myself to take things One at a time?

Make a list in the order you would like to get it done. Stick to the list. Disipline yourself. Multi tasking overwhelms and only causes further anxiety. For me anyway.
Have a fun and safe trip. Let us know how it went.

Take care

Thanks for the support! Made it there and back with little problems. Was a little anxious during the week about some items, but was able to cope. Not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow though! Kinda scared, but I can do it! At least that is what I have to keep telling myself!

Oh and the smelting has been very poor for several years. I don't go, but have heard of no reports yet.
