About a month ago I got sick with a Respitory Virus and since then I have felt worried and scared 24/7. Currently I have been feeling a lot better. The virus basically went away but left me with Sinusitit that i'm currently battling now. Throughout this hole duartion (little over a month now) I have felt on edge, uncomfortable, dizzyness, worry about my health, sweaty hands, lot of night sweats (almost every night since I was infected with the virus), dont want to eat, and been very weak/tired.

Its weird.. becouse at night I feel relaxed and dont have any worry. I'm able to get something to eat and just relax. But the next morning it all starts all over. I ahve also noticed that if I drink hot drinks or take hot showers to clear my sinus I feel A LOT better. I still feel a little edgy but its nothing liek it was before I cleaned my sinus.

I'm just curious if this is in fact Anxiety, or is it normal becouse of my sinuses making me dizzy tired etc.. and i'm just making a bigger deal out of it.

I never had a feeling like this before, being scared/worried/edgy 24/7 besides night hours. Sure, I have some phobias liek heights that may give me a panic attack but they just go away and I go on. Now with this constant worry its making it hard to deal with becouse it wont go away.

Anyways, maybe someone here can tell me what this is and what I should do to help me cope. Hopefully is just my sinusitis and i'm just makeing it worse than it really is...

Thanks in advance, look forward to hearing some replys!

If you have constant worry, that's anxiety. Anxiety itself is simply an emotion, like fear, anger, or embarrassment. Anxiety is only a disorder or a problem if it disrupts your life.

As for diagnosing you with a disorder, that would be for a psychiatrist or psychologist to do.

Thx for the reply

Well I have experienced panic attacks in the past, but not very often. There was usually "triggers" for it like flying on a plane, being trapped in a crowded place etc.. As far as this constant worry though, I don't have any "triggers" I just wake up with it and then its gone by night. I don't eat during the day only at night, I just don't feel like eating becouse the worry makes my stomach sick when I smell food. I'm basically a newbie when it comes to Anxiety. I'm just looking for opinions of whats going on with me.

Anyways, if anyone else has any ideas I would love to hear them.
Thanks
