Hey i just wanted to share this:
When i find myself getting overwhelmed and heading for a panic attack if i can i try to find what in my head, which main thought is causing this reaction and ask myself will it really matter in a years time? Usually the answer is no, sometime yes but i find i can calm myself down.

I use the same technique when it applies and it does help. I've tried to recondition myself to believe, even if it feels like the end of the world as I know it right now, it's not the end of the actual world. I make myself realize that although it's very hard at the moment, that in the future it will be minimal, I've overcome much tougher obstacles than an anxiety attack, so it helps Thanks for the advice, hope it helps others as well as us

Great advice! I know lots of stuff I get upset about don't really matter much in the scheme of things.
