((((Hi, Kel)))

I went in with a totally open mind because I was willing to try ANYTHING to get rid of my anxiety. I have several traumatic events that I need to deal with but one step at a time. Try to relax going in...just let it happen and don't worry. I let myself go with whatever the EMDR led to and felt much better afterward.

I didn't know if it would work for me and don't know if it will work for you but try to be open to it.

Good luck - let us know how it went.

Hey everyone,

I didn't start the EMDR yesterday! My therapist wants to put it off till I work out my medication, I want to get off it because i dont like the way it makes me feel... so she said it's better to wait till next week when I have seen psychiatrist... so I will let you all know when I actually start it hehe!!

Hey Everyone,

Finally started EMDR yesterday... had some troubles with medication that had to be sorted out...

Well, did the EMDR without any good results unfortunately, Therapist said I am not responding to it, not moving my eyes properly or something so I'm not processing it?? She said some people respond well, others don't....

Sooo, was a bit of a bummer and left me feeling quite down... but oh well, she has suggested a few other things to do over the next week, so will see how it goes!!

I've had one session of this so far to help me with my ptsd. I found it very helpful.
