This sound lame, but works for me when my meds are far!. When I am really anxious I go to my happy(safe) place. Start with breathing deeply couple of times. Imagine a place where you feel safe or happy. Concentrate on every little detail. The weather, are you inside or not. Is there animals ect. You can put in that place just what you want to. There are no rules. I once got so carried away that I immersed 2 hours later!
Thanks for this!

Mine's been super high lately, too. I wouldn't leave my bedroom until 11:00 today because my husband had to go into the office (he normally works from home) and I was convinced someone was in the house. I had no reason to think that other than the fact that my mind thought it, and I believed it. That's just one example of what the anxiety has been doing to me lately. I don't want to leave the house much and I freak if my husband leaves because I'm worried something will happen to him.
