It sounds dumb, but when I am home and have high anxiety I listen to my collection of Baroque music. I also like to write poetry... Basically taking my mind off of it as much as possible.
Thanks for this!

I try some deep breathing exercise; breathing from the stomach. Also, I find that drawing helps.
Thanks for this!

something that distracts you from anxious thoughts. I watch a movie and sometimes exercise while watching it.
Thanks for this!

I watch TV/online episodes of something relaxing/easy to watch, or do some relaxation exercises.

Often times when my anxiety is bothering me I watch Tv. This forces your mind to focus on something else. I try to stay away from anything dramatic . I often watch children's shows because they are simple & easy to process ( that way I don't over think ). Also I try to control my breathing. When things get really bad I usually get in the bath tub, that always calms me down. Hope that helps .

Sometimes listening to my mix of meditation, awareness, hypnotherapy playlist helps me take my mind off. What also helps me is keep busy and doing something like washing dishes, working in the garden or exercising.
When I'm not at home and feel very anxious, I try to talk myself through it - telling myself that its going to pass - and try to focus on something else like a good memory, counting down from 1000 or solving simple math exercises.
Thanks for this!

i do a lot of different things but my frau knows when i am really anxious because i set up a jig saw puzzle with classical or new age music in the background. jig saw puzzles really take me out of this world for hours and there is no time limit so no perfectionism issues.
Thanks for this!
