I got into bed last night, lay down and within a few minutes I was clawing my way out of bed. I launched into a full-scale attack, almost passing out from hyperventilating. My husband (who "can't stand" this sort of thing), spoke me through it and got me breathing again but I was crying hysterically all the while.

I don't know what brought it on but I feel awful today. My whole body aches, as though I have been steam rollered.

This hasn't happened to me for many months - I hope it won't again! Left breathless and aching

Oh... my friend.... I was like that myself, last friday. It's so horrible and you feel so drained the day after.
But... you got through it!!!! It always passes...
My hubby is having a real hard time too, handling these moments of cry and deep anxiety.
I feel for you, dear one!

Left breathless and aching hopefully it was just a rare one-off and you'll soon be feeling back to normal.

(((((((Sabrina)))))))

I'm sorry you experienced this. It's so hard when it comes out of nowhere like that (not that we're ever really prepared to begin with). I hope you will soon be feeling better. Are you taking any anti-anxiety meds or sedatives?

Love,
Sujin

Thanks for the support everyone.

Sujin, I have been medication free for more than a year and will fight to stay that way. Fortunately, this is the first severe attack in months and while it felt like it lasted hours, it was in fact only a few minutes.

I feel ravaged today though. You are right Nina - it is totally draining.

Oh well, soldier on ... that is me!

Thanks again.

I`m glad you`re feeling better. I`ve been there & it is so tiring & scary. The ache I think comes from being so tense from anxiety but it sounds like you`re a trooper. Hang in there! HUGS!
