Basically, I seem to have gotten it into my head that my T (L) is going to leave me, and that someone wants to physically hurt me.

I don't know- there's no logical reason for any of it, but I can't stop obsessing over the idea, and it's causing multiple panic attacks. I don't know how to deal with until I next see L on monday and I'll probably end up asking her not to leave or something.

Is this common for people with anxiety?

I think it's common for people in therapy full stop to worry about abandonment by their T. I hope you can talk about your fears with your T.

I'm so sorry you are going through this Can you call your T (send an e-mail) and tell her about it? It's awful to suffer like this until next week.. If you aren't comfortable calling your T, you could talk to someone about your feelings and just get them out and see if it helps. Did something specific happen that you think someone whats to hurt you? Watched a bad movie or had a nightmare? I feel like this sometimes during really bad panic attacks but it usually passes after a while. I hope you feel better soon.
