I was wondering if anyone had any tips in overcoming agoraphobia and social phobia? I developed it over the past year, now I literally have no social life at all. I would like to start getting out more and not be nervous around people, in public places. I really want to actually be living my life I wonder if it's something I should start out with little steps first? I feel like I over think upcoming social situations to the point where I make it seem like something worse than it actually is and start getting more nervous.

I have to work on what came with my agoraphobia while gradually trying to build up the number of times I am outside the house. So, I agree little baby steps at first.

I have to mentally get myself prepared to get out. Lately, I found giving myself small rewards is helping ATM.

I try to massage the positives and work on relieving stress if I suffer any setbacks.

Take what you like, and leave the rest behind.

Thank you, I'm going to try this, I think I'm going to start by picking up my own prescriptions by myself first, I know it's small but at least it's something

Try going to the store with headphones on. It can get you used to going outside and people won't talk to you with headphones on. This could be a baby step.
Thanks for this!
