I had one positive thought today. Just one.

"Wait a minute ... what if all the catastrophizing, pessimism and low self-esteem is just neural BS and in reality, it's safe to ignore it? What if I have been overthinking the apparent significance of my own brain saying 'There's something extremely disturbing under the bed, and now it's right behind me isn't it!?' ... for years!?"
Wouldn't that make a person very depressed eventually...?

Reality just got 100% nicer.

Haha I understand where you're coming from, Onward! all those negative thoughts could possibly be BS it also could make a person depressed eventually, but it most likely would bring relief i mean, after all these years of having catastrophizing, pessimism, and low self-esteem, people are usually already depressed, so the idea that these negative thoughts are just BS could make them feel better I give your brain a prize! and you a big hug!
