Does anyone else have this problem? I cannot figure it out, except to say that when I was on oodles of meds before for what I believe was a misdiagnosis of bipolar, they made me so sick that this is all I did most of the time; I got too used to this stupid, lazy, inactive life style!
I now feel very stuck and cannot seem to break this terrible bad habit. I am also very anxious and depressed. Problems with daughter and her son prompted at least part of this. Daughter is devastated because son is now in a good, tough two-year rehab program for drug addicts, so she cannot talk to me much at all. This has pretty much devastated me. So, three generations here are not in the best of shape. I cannot seem to make myself move and do what needs to be done. It is hot and miserable out and I am cold from AC, tired, down and miserable. Turned AC off. Can't get out and walk much because I need ingrown toenail treatment ASAP. Does ANYONE experience this - sleeping all day and not cleaning, not even wanting to cook, not taking out trash? Peanut butter sandwiches work part of the time, but one cannot live healthily on those.... Agoraphobia also enters into the picture. I was able to go grocery shopping which exhausted me. The one bright spot is art therapy, but am having a break right now, back on 6/20. After that, I see pdoc again. Am considering CBT treatment. Cymbalta - 90 mg. per day, taken at night with dinner or tiny dinner because this makes me very sleepy if I take during the day. Alprazolam - 1 mg. at bedtime for sleep. Thank you for any feedback. I think CBT will be great. I totally understand the sleeping all day and not feeling like doing anything. I've been getting up before noon lately and it's hard just to stay awake all day.

The sleeping and lack of motivation can be coming from depression.
