WHy wouldnt your Mom want you to feel better - and for herself to feel better? I assume you are underage, and need her to give permission for treatment? Does she take you to the Doctor for a sore throat? Perhaps you can talk to the Doctor the next time you see one for an illness your Mother "approves" of. Is there a Counselor at your school perhaps that you could talk to about this? They might be able to talk to your Mom and help you get to see a Doctor or therapist. I am sorry you feel bad, especially when this can be easily treated.

Well, what about saying to your Mom what it is that you want? Ask your question in another way: "I want to get help Mom". You are 2 separate people. She can do what she wants for herself and you can have your own thoughts and feelings and needs for yourself.

What kind of help did you have in mind? Medications are not for everyone, but therapy is. It's good to learn about yourself and to make your life more enjoyable.

I hope you get what you want and what you need and I hope you'll come back and tell us how you are doing!

Hi Sami,

I'm sorry your Mom doesn't seem to want to help you. Do you have anyone else that you can talk to about this?
Maybe an Aunt or school counselor?
Wishing you the best.
Hugs,
Boopers
