Its funny how everytime I have a panic attack I feel like I'm dying or that I can't breathe and have something seriously wrong with me, but as soon as I take a valium I call me right back down which is proof that there was not actually anything wrong with me but my problem is I do not know how to calm myself down from a panic attack naturally and I am 35 years old and have never had this talent. My knife attacks are only about physical problems that don't exist, I'm a former mixed martial arts fighter in a combat military veteran and I think I have PTSD because I fear no man yet I find myself in fear of my own body for no reason all the time, I'm going to go see a psychiatrist and see if I can get on some regular medicine for anxiety but I have no idea which one to try and of course I am deathly afraid of side effects specifically the ones that make your Weiner deflate. Lol

When I have a panic attack it very literally paralyzes me. I can not move or I will die, I can not call for help or I will die, I can not breathe or I will die. The weird thing is that I also feel that if I do nothing I will also die so it's a no win situation. All I can do is keep repeating "I will not die" sort of like a mantra. It keeps me going until the episode ends. Go see a shrink. The meds work.
Thanks for this!

I've had some panic attacks and get quite anxious when I have to speak in public. Remind yourself that a panic attack CANNOT physically harm you and it will pass fairly quickly. When it starts, force your breathing to be slow and deep, this will help counteract the physical symptoms. Good luck.
