I'm not sure telling him he was being immature is the best way to get through to him.

Maybe...?

Maybe his just trying to get a rise out of you...? I know my ex's siblings were good at that.

The dumb part is a bit of a sting. Yes, it gave me a rise. But at least we are not ignorant like he appears to be coming across.

I've seen too much wealth of knowledge collectively at PC that he obviously is ignorant of what goes on here...

I recently had an incident with my step mom that left me angry and hurt. She accused me of things I never have done...but she is so sure I did. I let her rant...told her it wasn't me....let her carry on more...I sat and cried...listening. Finally she said she felt better...got up...and left my house. She felt better but for a few days I allowed her to hurt me emotionally. This isn't the first time I have had encounters of this type with her and probably not the last one. I decided to pick and chose what battles I will fight...and this one isn't worth it.

what are the ages of you and your siblings?

in all honesty, if your brother is acting in a way you dont like, you should just not be around him. worrying about him and how rude he wants to be is not going to help you with anything that is going on. You should just try and put time and space between the two of you and leave it at that. worry about yourself first..

stick in there, sometimes family can be pains. but that time will pass
