I have had a few recent attacks, some I could work through and prevent from getting worse and others were full blown. I have been able to find the triggers but there have been a few I have no idea what is causing them. I was having lunch the other day and had to leave the place because I felt it coming on, no idea what caused it. Again I was at work and for no reason my breathing because short and fast and I couldn't get it under control.
Is that normal?

It's normal for those who suffer from anxiety and panic disorder. Hang in there.
Thanks for this!

I agree with Angelique, sometimes you just can't find a trigger. It just happens. I find it to be one of the most frustrating aspects of anxiety.

Learning various coping skills can help make it through the episodes.

Thank you. It is frustrating because if I cant find the trigger it is sure to happen again. I hate this!

It is pretty horrible. I just had my anxiety get worse a little while ago and I'm not sure why.

Like the tides that ebb and flow. So does our anxiety go.

But we are not alone.

Hugs to everyone here. A big silent group hug as we lean on each other and know we are never alone as long as someone understands.

Today, for no reason I am having panic, terror, anxiety, doom, fear - falsely thinking there is a reason. Took a PRN. Reminded myself I am safe. Came here, to the right place to find some thread to lean on, and be a person who could be leaned on back.

Best of luck to each and every one of us.

I have panic disorder and sometimes I know what triggers me and other times I really have no clue which is frustrating beyond belief. I hope that your episodes come less often and ease up soon. Hugs to all on this thread.
