Sorry - I haven't had any experience with that drug.

Are you considering it or recently prescribed it?

Meclizine is actually more for true Vertigo - and can be very very sedating. My Mom recently had 6 months of disabling vertigo and took it for several weeks - until we realized she was more of a zombie from the Meclizine than the Vertigo. She went off it slowly . It DID help some with the Vertigo, but didnt stop it - however - luckily she went to a University that treats Vertigo and she has been symptom free for 6 months after 3 treatments there.

To be totally honest - I would never take Meclizine for the dizziness that accompanies panic/anxiety attacks. The dizziness from these attacks are from improper breathing - and Meclizine will not correct your breathing - only you can. If you want - PM me and I will explain diaphragmatic breathing - its lengthly.

is it truly from the anxiety? If so xanax or valium will stop it. HOWEVER, the dizzieness could have come first, and in people who are sensitive, will set off panic attacks. An ear doctor canoften be helpful.
