i have this huge fear of throwing up. it's absolutely ridiculous. i can't take medicine because of it, i have to ward off possible panic attacks almost every day, i knock on wood like a maniac [i have a twig on a necklace in case there's no other wood around] to try to prevent nausea etc. it's getting worse i think. i wish it would go away, but like i said, i cant take meds, which means no anti-anxiety meds. especially since prozac gave me panic attacks [and all the panic attacks ive had were triggered when i was nauseated].

I'm kinda the opposite. I don't mind my own at all, but anyone else throwing up scares me. I don't receive any sort of treatment for it. I hope you are talking to someone professionally about it, though.

Maybe there's a way you can get antidepressant or antianxiety medicines as an injection? So maybe that can help you until you are stabilized? I don't even know if that's a possibility, but you might be able to ask.

SongsInMyHead,
You are not alone...I know when I am anxious because I get nauseated, feels like something in my throat, I feel the breathing, I have not thrown up but feel I may....dont want to do that.....sigh.....its really frightening.......Today I went to my great nieces recital...I started having an anxiety/panic attack with severe nausea...thougth I was going to have troubles breathing....and the more I focused on it..the worse it got inside. Of course I never did either...but man did it feel like it.....It frightens me....And the worse part is I have medicine for the anxiety but am afraid to take it....
