I am disabled and have file for my disability. in the mean time hubby isn't making enough money for us and I am feeling really super guilty. I was making alot of money before my injury and now I feel so useless and sinking further behind money wise. *sigh* thinking I may have to try somehow to go back to work but can't think of anything I can do that doesn't cause such pain. heck can't even clean my house! oh gosh I feel like I am going to just lose it! keep me in your thoughts and prayers please.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{BE}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}- i understand completely how you're feeling. i filed for SSDI in Sept. of 2004. i was finally approved by a judge in March of this year, and i'm still waiting to get any money. i can't tell you how many times i was ready to give up and go and try to find a job i could do because of money issues. I will keep you in my thoughts. anxiety setting in

That's got to be the toughest at times, believing ourselves to be of utmost value (even when we're not 'doing' anything).

Do you have your husband's support? It's such a burden carrying that alone!

bebop,
very glad to hear. Mine is too. I feel so guilty, badly about this broken leg. I need to be working too, and had to put that off. I feel guilty all those times I repeatedly get kidney stones too (ouch!)

again, I think it's confusing the 'being' wtih the doing.

I can so relate to your stressful feelings right now. I'll share with you something my husband taught me a few years ago when I was always stressing over things. He told me this simple sentence and it is so very true -

We always get what we need.

Remember, it doesn't mean we get what we "think" we need or what we "want". It only means, we get what we need.

I hope you can find something in that line to help you. Whenever I begin to stress over things I remember what he told me and it helps...and yes, I always do get what I need.

Lots of love and hope being sent your way!

Hugssss

i can totally relate to what you are saying. i am in a very similar situation. i haven't been able to work since Sept 06 and i too have the same money problems. husband works alot of overtime to try and make ends meet. still battling workmens comp. for a settlement (fighting with them since injury in Aug 05) and have yet to file for my ssi. it is terribly stressful and also pretty scarey not knowing how long you will be able to stay above water. just know you are not alone. i know what you are going through and you can pm me anytime you like.

thanks jinny

recluse are you getting a weekly settlement check from w/c? I wish I was still getting mine! I finally got mine settled and check in hand in Dec. I was able to buy our home outright though so at least that is not a worry. just all the other bills. *sigh* good luck with yours.
what is your injury if you don't mind me asking?

oh they don't allow much overtime with my hubby. anxiety setting in
